Deptford Pink - Dianthus
armeria
This is an introduced member of the Pink family featuring 5 regular
parts and opposite, entire leaves. This species has ½"
wide, pinkish flowers which are spotted with white. The leaves
are grasslike and can be up to 2" long. I think it is one
of, if not the prettiest, of the small pinks.
