Drooping Trillium
- Trillium flexipes
This Trillium, a member
of the Lily family, is similar to the Nodding Trillium but has
petals which are not reflexed. The cream colored anthers are
another way to recognize this one. Not commonly found in this
area, this photo was taken on the Big Butt Trail off of the Blue
Ridge Parkway.
