Estatoe Creek Slot
Roughly 100 yards upstream
from this spot, the stream
is approximately 20 yards across. My photograph doesn't do justice
to the sense of power you experience when you're standing here
looking at it. One of my camping partners, David Clarke, referred
to it as "the slot" which seems perfect to me.
