Everlasting Pea
- Lathyrus latifolius
An introduced member
of the Pea family, this species has escaped from cultivation
and is fairly common throughout our region. A low growing, winged
vine has two leaflets and flowers which vary from purple to pink.
Each plant will bloom continuously from late May through September
leading to the common name.
