Large Flowered Leafcup
- Polymnia uvedalia
This tall growing member of the Aster family blooms in July and
August. As is typical of blooms that time of year, these are
found on roadsides and forest edges where the canopy of the trees
does not block the sunlight. The large, slightly hairy leaves
have winged petioles and are the source of the common name.
