Pink Lady Slipper

This Orchid shares many
of the historical medicinal uses as its relative the Yellow
Lady Slipper. Both are somewhat toxic and may cause dermititis

This species is so highly dependant on fungi which grow on its
roots, that if the fungus dies the plant starves.
