Roan Overlook Trail,

We were approaching the overlook
after a somewhat "misty" lunch. The Spruce-Fir forest
community around us is more typical of Canada than the southern
Appalachians. For an idea of how beautiful rainy weather can

taken about five minutes after this one. These folks had such
a great attitude about the weather that we should have gotten
tans!
