 Turtlehead -Chelone glabra
Like its showier relative, the Pink Turtlehead, these bloom from late summer into fall, and are pollinated by insects. Bees in particular enjoy the nectar provided by these and their movement, inside the flower, caused the flower to move like a turtle opening and closing its mouth.
