Umbrella Leaf -
Diphylleia cymosa
This member of the Barberry
family, a close relative of the Mayapple, has leaves which can
be as much as 2 feet across, and an attractive flower which blooms
in May and June. The berries
which are evident by September are, in my opinion, far more striking
than the flower.
