Despite the histrionics of local news media, we (sadly) rarely get any snow in the Asheville area. But when we do I think the beauty of it more than compensates for the cold. Views of snow covered mountains are a joy and provide another example of how different aspects of the natural world are both fascinating and beautiful. |
