Wood Anemone -
Anemone quinquefolia
This delicate member of the Buttercup family is sometimes called
the Windflower. Growing low to the grown in rich woodlands, the
leaves are divided into three or more, commonly five, parts.
A northern species these are generally found at higher elevations.
